Jay-Z Opens Up About Feud With Kanye West

Hov finally spits bars on the feud between him and "Watch The Throne" album collaborator, Kanye West.  If you're a Jigga Man fan like Celebrity Stylist Charles Gregory and me, then you know for a fact that Jay-Z has always been super private about his private life.

Jigga shocked the world with the June 30th release of his 13th platinum album "4:44", a tell-all album that kicks knowledge, which went platinum within the first week of its release.  One of the tracks in particular, "Kill Jay Z", touches on Kanye West's on-stage rant during a concert performance on his Saint Pablo Tour.  The infamous rant lasted approximately 15 minutes before Kanye ended the show early and checked himself into a hospital for exhaustion back in November 2016.

Jay, who is the total opposite of Ye when it comes to privacy, was hurt especially because Kanye mentioned Jay's wife and daughter in his rant.  According to E! News, Jigga talked about the feud on the Rap Radar podcast on his streaming service Tidal.  Jay-Z said, "But what really hurt me, you can't bring my kid or my wife into it."  Jay continued, "Like, Kanye is my little brother.  He's talked about me a hundred times.  He even made a song called ‘Big Brother.'  We've gotten past bigger issues, but you brought my family into it, now it's a problem."

Everybody knows that when you bring someone's family into an argument or feud, that's grounds for dismissal.  It breaks up relationships, friendships, marriages, and so forth.  If we're dating and you disrespect my mother, father, siblings, or child, it's a wrap!  If we're friends and you come for my husband/boyfriend, it's curtains.  People who are loyal to those who are dear to them will not allow others to fall short of showing nothing but respect.

As Jay-Z pointed out while addressing the feud, they have had many disagreements but Kanye crossed that fine line when he suggested that Beyonce wouldn't perform at the 2016 MTV VMA's unless "Formation" won Video of the Year over Drake and Kanye.  Kanye also mentioned that Jay never brought his daughter Blue Ivy over to the house to play with his and wife Kim Kardashian's daughter North West.  Mr. West, you need to stop.

This is definitely something that both platinum rappers could have sat down and talked about.  Now the damage is done.  Hopefully they can let bygones be bygones and get back to making hits.  Only time will tell.  Now that Jigga has become more vocal and open, we're sure to hear about any reconciliation that happens.  We shall see.
